Each education and training provider at LTE works to serve the needs of their learners and stakeholders. They are all specialists in their own field and collaborate across sectors for the benefit of the communities we serve as a wider group.

From learners who progress from further education at The Manchester College to higher education at UCEN Manchester, from Total People and MOL working together to provide holistic training strategies for employers, the synergies that come from being part of LTE enable more and better opportunities for all.

In our Greater Manchester heartland, we are proud to operate in one of the first devolved regions in England.  We work closely with Manchester Council, Greater Manchester Combined Authority, employers and our Chambers of Commerce to create programmes and pathways designed to meet the skills needs of the city and the wider region.

Whether we’re delivering in the UK or overseas, our relentless focus on our strategic priorities - people, process and innovation, finance, and learners and customers - have enabled us to become preferred providers within government and the private sector, from the Ministry of Justice to the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Our unique infrastructure, spanning prison education to higher and professional study means we can provide a coherent and comprehensive support package to meet the aspirations of learners and stakeholders.

It also provides us with a system-level understanding of the challenges and opportunities across the full spectrum of post-16 education enabling us to influence at the very highest levels to shape the future of education and training.
