TMC/MOL graduation

Congratulations to the graduates of 2017!

Graduates from The Manchester College and MOL recently celebrated their achievements at our 2017 graduation ceremony.

It was smiles all round as more than 800 students from The Manchester College and MOL learners attended their graduation ceremony at The Bridgewater Hall in Manchester.  The event marked the final achievement for them after completing their higher education and professional qualifications.

Lisa O’Loughlin, Principal of The Manchester College, said: “I’d like to congratulate all of our graduates from the class of 2017 on their fantastic achievements.

“This ceremony marked the end of their time with us, but I’m incredibly happy to see them beginning so many new and exciting adventures as they enter the world of work or further study.

“Seeing our students celebrate their achievements with friends and loved ones made me immensely proud, and on behalf of everyone here, I’d like to wish them every success for the future.”

Peter Cox, Executive Director of MOL, added: “Graduation is a major personal achievement in every sense.  For many, the journey to graduation day is likely to have been one of sacrifice, balancing personal commitments with competing demands from work and other quarters.

Graduation is a testament to the personal dedication, resilience and tenacity which will stand learners in good stead for their future career.

The ceremony celebrated the hard work and commitment of graduates from a variety of subject areas including Academic Studies; Automotive, Construction, Engineering and Logistics; Business, Computing and Creative Digital Industries; Creative Arts; Human Resource Management and Development; Service and Retail industries as well as Sport, Public Service and Care Professions.

MOL learners received Masters and Level 7 awards from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, the CIPD.  MOL has been an established, quality provider of CIPD qualifications nationally since 1991.
