Total People's first target reached by halfway mark
Total People are marking the halfway point of their £500k in 100 days campaign by announcing that they've hit one of their aims - in just 50 days!
Since launching during National Apprenticeship Week (7-13 February), Total People have been encouraging SMEs across the region to access levy gifted funds for apprenticeship training, which can help to bridge skills gaps and increase productivity.
The life-changing campaign has now helped to create an amazing 108 opportunities for apprenticeship training so far, thanks to smaller businesses looking to upskill their staff or take on an apprentice.
Beckie Holmes, Levy Gifting Manager, said: “This is truly amazing! In just 50 days, we’ve helped to create real opportunities for businesses across the North West and their staff.
Apprenticeships are a fantastic way for people to start, progress or change their career and we’re thrilled to be helping our smaller businesses to secure much-needed funding as a way of futureproofing their business and upskilling their staff.
Little Tap Restaurant and Bar in Cheshire were one of the first small employer to access funds from a £100k gift from Elior.
Myles Carr, Business Owner, said: "Elior’s gifted funds will have helped a huge amount of businesses that have survived the pandemic and want to grow."
Justin Johnson, HR Director, Elior UK, said: “We are acutely aware of the challenges these sectors have overcome over the last few years, so we are delighted to play our part by investing in their regeneration.”
