Lindsey Johnson, Vice Principal at The Manchester College, has discussed greater collaboration among sector colleagues in leading industry publication tes.

The article, entitled ‘How to put collaboration at the heart of FE’, was posted in the news section of the online edition on Friday 24 May.

Within the article, Lindsey Johnson encourages wider collaboration with a range of colleagues and stakeholders both inside and outside further education.

Lindsey explains how actively engaging with a diverse cross section of the community is the way forward to ensuring colleges provide quality education and support at the heart of the community.

Lindsey also offers five key tips on how colleges can place themselves at the forefront of the community and the FE sector. These include:

  • Keeping the region’s skills agenda in mind

  • Offering opportunities for staff to upskill and network with other practitioners, such as attending the UKFEchat Conference 2019.
