Novus awarded West Midlands PES contracts, building on national delivery portfolio
Novus has been awarded Prisoner Education Service (PES) contracts across the West Midlands, continuing its delivery of prison education provision across the region.
The contracts follow Novus’ successful award of the northern PES lots last year, consolidating its role within prison education delivery.
This follows on from the recent announcement that Novus has also been awarded the Sheffield Connect to Work programme, which supports individuals with complex barriers into sustained employment through employer engagement and in-work support.
As part of LTE Group, Novus delivers education and training within the justice sector, working with partners and stakeholders to support progression pathways from custody into employment. This forms part of the Group’s wider approach, bringing together education, skills and employment provision.
The West Midlands contracts will see Novus continue to deliver education and training across core curriculum, vocational pathways and employability support, aligned to reducing reoffending and improving progression outcomes.
The awards reflect LTE Group’s focus on excellence in delivery, alongside its commitment to being a sustainable and ethical organisation, supporting long-term social and economic outcomes.
Peter Cox, Novus Managing Director and LTE Group Director said:
This is a strong example of our One Group approach in action, bringing together education, skills and employment support to create clear progression routes for learners.
Novus’ continued success across PES contracts and employment programmes reflects the consistency and quality of its delivery.”
